Note Card Set- Women of the World
Superior Dry Goods' "Women of the World" note card collection features three different vintage prints of lovely women from around the World. These blank cards are printed on luxury 100% recycled heavyweight speckled off-white card stock. Cards and envelopes measure 4.38 x 5.75 inches (size A2).
Our Women of the World note cards include a European lady wearing a full skirt and dancing shoes, an African lady in a wonderful yellow dress over a full peticoat, and an immaculately dressed lady from the "Orientalism" art period of the 19th century. Arguably, these are reprsentations created by Euopean artists, and are likely romanticized and culturally non-specific. However, we find these ladies to be beatifully rendered, and ultimately a celebration of feminine charm across cultures, c. 1900.
This note Card Set includes 12 blank note cards and 13 matching envelopes.

These note cards are made with 100% recycled luxury heavyweight vellum cardstock. These note cards are made with 100% recycled luxury kraft card stock. This paper is FSC certified (by the Forest Stewardship Council) and made in the U.S.A. Our stationery packaging is made from recycled and biodegradable materials.
About the Artistic Process
Superior Dry Goods sources our images from the vast amount of public domain images available in print and online. We painstakingly enhance, modify, and re-purpose these public domain images into original new artwork. Through our creative application of custom fonts, messages, and other manipulations, these vintage and antique images find a new, contemporary purpose. Although the original images are not copyrighted, the modifications and enhancements that we add to them is propietary, and reproduction of these products is forbidden.
